Workshop: Enhancement of Nature-based Solutions for sustainable agriculture and ecosystem health

Policies promoting global research and technological progress are based on three pillars: sustainable use of resources, decontamination of polluted soils and waters, and production of healthy agricultural products. To successfully address these environmental and social challenges, it is imperative to encourage international experts to undertake joint initiatives.

The Polish Academy of Sciences and the National Research Council have had long and successful collaborations on these issues, as documented by joint partnerships between Polish and Italian teams in various research initiatives.

The workshop aims to provide an overview of current cooperation, discuss the main thematic lines of common interest, improve mutual networking, and strengthen partnerships to address future project initiatives at national and European levels.

In particular, current projects will be presented to promote broader projects, including, for example, joint proposals under Horizon Europe and cost-related activities. Part of the workshop will be devoted to a panel discussion to share research results and an incubation program for new research.
